Alphabet (GOOGL) stock analysis for beginners
Education only. Not a buy or sell call.
Alphabet is Search, YouTube, Google Cloud, and other bets. Beginners treat it as “the search stock.” A session should show how much is still ads, and whether cloud is earning or only growing.
What to look at first
Read revenue over several years, then operating income and cash. Ads can look steady until traffic or pricing changes. Cloud can spend for years. You do not need every segment on day one. You do need cash next to the story.
A beginner order for GOOGL
- Open GOOGL in the Finorify web app as a guest or signed-in user.
- Read revenue and cash flow. Ask if Alphabet is compounding or just having a good year.
- Use the scorecard as a summary, then the help sheets on any term you do not know.
- Only then open the DCF. If you need heroic growth to make the price work, write that down.
- Note the next earnings date so you are not surprised.
