Meta (META) stock analysis for beginners
Education only. Not a buy or sell call.
Meta sells ads against time spent in Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and related apps. It also spends on Reality Labs. Beginners pick a side: “ads print money” or “the metaverse burns cash.” Read both on the same charts.
What to look at first
Revenue and operating income tell you if ads still pay the bills. Cash flow tells you what is left after Reality Labs. You do not need to decide if VR wins. You do need to see the spend.
A beginner order for META
- Open META in the Finorify web app as a guest or signed-in user.
- Read revenue and cash flow. Ask if Meta Platforms is compounding or just having a good year.
- Use the scorecard as a summary, then the help sheets on any term you do not know.
- Only then open the DCF. If you need heroic growth to make the price work, write that down.
- Note the next earnings date so you are not surprised.
